Evaluation3

What have you learned from your audience feedback?

As a part of my Planning stage i created a survey using www.surveymonkey.com. The programme allowed me to create specific questions that i could ask my target audience on what they would expect to see in my genre of music video. The questions ranged from props and costumes to locations and artists. The feedback helped me learn and understand the area i was working in and aim my music video at it's correct genre.

As well as survey monkey, i received class feedback on my story boards. I showed my animatic to approximately eighteen classmates to receive there feedback on area's that they liked and area's of improvement. This allowed me to have a full understanding of what i needed to include when shooting my music video and gave me some clear guidelines that i could follow.

I also received feedback on my final film via Facebook. This was a really good site to use as i had more contacts and could publicly display my video to a wider audience. The feedback i received is displayed below:
Another place where i received feedback was on youtube. I uploaded my final music video to youtube and those with youtube accounts were free to comment and express their views.
As seen here:

I found the process of gaining feedback from others extremely useful and allowed me to improve in many area's. It allowed me to learn more about the expectations of others and allowed to to suit my music video to it's correct genre.
