Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrTyD7rjBpw&ob=av2e

I like this shot as it's pointing upwards to the sky and all objects in view almost look upside down. It's similar to a point of view shot as whats in view in the shot is the same as if someone was looking upwards. The angel of this shot makes the buildings look like they're closing inwards and as the video goes on the camera stays at this angel but moves forward. It is great with the theme of the video as it over exaggerates the point that the location is in the city.
This is an extreme close-up to the artist singing. in some music videos i've researched i'm finding that an extreme close-up of the artists mouth whilst they're singing is becoming rather common. I feel that this is because it gives a good effect and instead of my natural thought to make my music video slightly different and unique, i feel that i must feature this classic shot in my video. The shot is also z as the face of the artist is in focus and the background is out of focus; this draws more attention towards the artist and a great depth of field.
this camera angle is from a birds eye view. this is a great shot to fit everything in the frame and fits in rather well with this shot. It doesn't capture all the small details, i.e the artists facial expressions, but but having most of her body in the frame we get a clear sense of location and the theme that goes with the shot. The lighting in this shot is rather bright, considering the music video is made at night time. This is in order to make the picture clear.
this is a medium shot as we can't exactly see the whole of the artists body.I really like the use of background in this shot and how we can only see the silhouette of the artist. Its really effective when the director is trying to make the focus on the artists dancing. With the right lighting and camera angels this might be a possible shot i could pull off in my music video.
This is a long shot, in this shot it includes the full shot; which is of the whole body. the shot is interesting as it looks really professional, however, the artist isn't really doing much. This shot would be hard to do in my music video as i wouldn't have the access to a studio, yet, i can take tips from the effects of the shot. Even outside of a studio i could still use this shot, as i like the effect of having a full shot of the artist/s.
