Selena Gomez & The Scene - A Year Without Rain

I like the angel of this shot as it is an over the shoulder shot and the viewers gets to see what the artist is looking at. The over the shoulder shot includes the viewers in the music video as they feel like they have the same point of view as the artist. The mirror in this shot is what is in focus yet it doesn't show the face of the artist.
i really like this close-up shot of the artist holding her hand out of the window. It also uses depth of field as the background is out of focus. Her black nail varnish contrasts with the background and stands out.

this is an extreme close-up to Selena's lips. It shows the quality of the lip syncing and really brings focus onto her singing. if i could pull this off with my video i think it would look professional and make the audience believe the songs been made and sung by my actress.
this is a medium shot. Whats interesting about this shot is that the artist is looking back at the camera instead of a typical shot from the front. it gives some different angles to the video and also because of the wind her dress and hair makes a good affect as its being blown.
This is a shot is focusing on the actress's feet and where she's walking. I like this shot as her shadows also in the frame and it usesdepth of field as the background is out of focus.
i really liked this shot with the pictures overlapping on the floor. it's using props in order to create  frame with a close-up shot. it's a good idea to use props to vary shots and keep the video interesting.

i really like the complete difference in colour in this long shot. The colour is almost charcoal so it's not too harsh but looks great with the theme. The use of rain is relevant to the lyrics of the song and the title and also looks really effective in the lighting as it reflects. The audience get to see the other character for the first time so a long shot is effective as they get to see the whole body in order to get familiar with him. I like how they are walking towards each other and the frame is symmetrical.
